Getting some texture!
I just felt that these living creatures need some sort of protection. I don't want them to be exposed in their environment, while they are absorbing the light. They need a hard shield that would keep the vitality of the fragile substance that lies inside.
And this is how this ongoing piece of art became 3-D as I shaped and stuck the "shields" made of plaster.
